Another very busy meet can be declared a huge success. As always we are indebted to the large team (too many to mention) of volunteers who make the meet possible. We would like to thank the swimmers in particular for the excellent way they conducted themselves throughout the meet, each and every one was a credit to their team. Thank you to coaches and team managers for helping us to keep the programme running on time as with over 2300 swims to get through the timing was extremely tight! Once again we are grateful to Neil Harper for acting as our lead referee and huge thanks to all the officials who help us out, especially those who do not have children taking part in the meet. Anyone who organises meets will know how hard it is to fill all the officials roles at every session so a big thank you to Diane Yeates for taking on the task once again.
Millfield pool staff did an excellent job as always and Steve and Emma kept the clocks ticking with the event timing.
We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and we look forward to welcoming you again in the spring at our next event, which will be a level 3 over the weekend of 31st March and 1st April.

9/10 April 2011 - Another Fantastic Weekend Concluded
Once again we owe a great debt to everyone involved in the organisation and running of an extremely busy meet. There were over 2300 swims over the weekend and credit has to be given to all the swimmers involved for their excellent sportsmanship. We hope you will agree there was a fantastic atmosphere and the teams were a credit to their clubs.
Lead referee Neil Harper once again kept the meet running smoothly and we are grateful to him and all those officials who gave up their time to help us, especially those who did not have swimmers taking part.
Once again Millfield staff were a huge help to us and at least this time the sun shone and we didn't have to mop up the rainwater! Thanks again to Event Timing for keeping us on track and finally thank you to all the families and friends who came and supported the swimmers.

to everyone involved with the first 3 Towers Open Meet
The weekend was extremely busy with large numbers of swimmers and clubs and apart from a couple of minor hiccoughs went very smoothly.
The organisers would like to extend their gratitude to Lead Referee, Neil Harper and the band of dedicated officials who worked extremely hard to keep the programme running.
Thank you also to all the helpers from the two clubs who gave their time, especially those who didn't have swimmers taking part.
Thank you to the coaches and swimmers from all clubs who behaved with great sportsmanship and were available for their events on time and to the spectators and supporters who cheered them on creating a fantastic atmosphere.
Thank you to Event Timing for keeping us up to speed!
And finally thank you to Millfield for providing the facility.
